EA Gold Stuff Review

EA Gold Stuffis an FX robot that is created for trading gold. It works by using the Gold Stuff indicator. As per the developer Vasiliy Strukov, this ATS uses the trend-following method for opening and closing trades. The developer is based in Russia and has two years of experience in the industry.

He has created 16 products and 7 signals and can be reached via an email address provided on the MQL5 site or through the message board of the site. Idea Pro gold, Antivirus, Mood, and Isolation are other products of the developer. We could not find a location address or phone number for contact. The insufficient support and inadequate vendor details make us suspect the reliability of this product.

Trading strategy explanation

Strategy and settings of EA Gold Stuff.

Besides mentioning that this FX EA uses the trend-following method, the developer does not reveal info on the approach. The lack of strategy explanation raises a red flag for this EA. Further, the developer fails to reveal details of the ATS including its features, the recommended capital, lot size, leverage, etc. A list of settings in the software is present on the MQL5 site which includes info on the buy/sell orders, hedge, money management, lot multiplier, drawdown reduction, and more. The absence of info on the MT4 tool raises doubts concerning the reliability of this product.

Backtest data analysis

Backtesting report for EA Gold Stuff.

A backtesting report shown above is provided by the developer. From the strategy tester report, we can see the modeling quality is 100%. For an initial deposit of $10,000, the FX EA had generated a net profit of 1406123.80 for a total of 2420 trades. Profitability of 69.885 and a profit factor of 3.30 were present for the account. A maximum drawdown of 91.17% is present. From the results, we can see that the drawdown is very high despite the decent profits. The high drawdown indicates a high-risk approach that can make you lose your funds quickly.

December 22, 2020

Here are a few screenshots of the real trading results for this FX EA. Although the developer provides trading results on the MQL5 site, they are not real live trading results. However, we found a real trading account that started in December 2020 verified by the myfxbook site.

Growth curve of EA Gold Stuff.

Advanced stats of EA Gold Stuff.

From the above results, we can see this is a real USD account using the WELTRADE broker with the leverage of 1:500 on the MT4 platform. A total profit of 4814% and an absolute profit of 1210.14% are present for the account. The daily and monthly profits are 1.19% and 231.13% respectively. We find the monthly profits are too high indicating a risky approach. Further, the dangerous approach is confirmed by the high drawdown value of 34.18%. Another factor to note is the big difference between the total and absolute profit values.

For a deposit of $3518, the ATS has completed 4960 trades with a profitability of 65% and a profit factor value of 2.11. The lot size information is hidden which raises suspicion of the reliability of this EA. Further, comparing the backtesting results with the current trading info, we find the performance is not as good as in the backtests indicating an ineffective performance.

Pricing package of EA Gold Stuff.

You can purchase this MT4 tool for $149. The developer does not offer rental options as seen with other mql5 products. There is no info on the features available with the package. We could not find a refund policy, making this an unreliable product.

Customer reviews

We could not find user reviews for this FX EA on sites like Forexpeacearmy, Trustpilot, etc. However, the MQL5 site has several reviews which we suspect of being manipulated since the site is the promoter of the product. Here are a few of the reviews:

User claiming about the capital loss caused by EA Gold Stuff.

User complaining of big loss with EA Gold Stuff.

As per the above feedback, one of the users claims that this system is using the Martingale method which can result in a total loss of capital. Another user complains of losing a big amount while the profits are low.

Review summary

  • Fully automated software
  • Price is not expensive

  • No strategy explanation is present
  • Trading results show a high drawdown
  • No money-back guarantee

EA Gold Stuff claims to use the trend method for its trading. But our evaluation of the trading results and backtesting report reveals a dangerous approach that can result in loss of your capital. The lack of vendor transparency, insufficient support, negative user feedback, and the absence of a money-back guarantee are other downsides that make this EA untrustworthy.
